Knifty Knitting!
Do you buy
knitted items because you adore the knit look? I see girls all the time
with knitted hats, gloves, bags, sweaters, scarves and more! Most people
don't learn to knit because of how time tasking it can be and how
difficult. When people hear 'knit' they think knit one, pearl two, knit
one, pearl two (That's a crocheting term actually!). It is SO much
easier than that honey! There is a great thing called Loom Knitting! Now
you don't do it on HUGE looms, you do it on decent sized looms that you
can buy almost anywhere in various shapes! You can buy them at Walmart,
any hobby store, really any craft place! AND don't forget your yarn!
There are tons of things you can knit with these lovely looms!
The looms come as circles, ovals, an odd swivel pattern, really any pattern! The looms also come in different sizes because babies don't have the same sized head as your husband honey! The shape doesn't matter as much It just makes it easier like knitting a scarf on an oval loom. After you purchase the looms they come with instructions on how to knit certain things such as hats, hats with brims, scarves (I love those scarf patterns!), and bags! It's really knifty to be able to create your own hats and mittens instead of buying them and believe me honey a roll of yarn goes a LONG way! You can even knit a shawl (great for the fall/winter) AND you can make them in any color you want! So whatever you knit goes with all of your outfits. It also works great to make your own little business and knit clothing that your friends request! There are just endless possibilities.
So go out and get some looms and start knitting! Knit items never go out of style honey! Take advantage! Stay tuned in for more knifty idea brought to you by Ashley the girl with endless ideas for you!

This Twists My Mind In Designer Designs!
Prada, Gucci, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dolce and Gabbana, Dior, Oscar De La Renta, The list goes on forever! I gotta tell you, I didn't know half of these let alone know that they were real names! The designer world is a world of unknowns that most don't understand, let alone me. It seems to never end! I do not know what fashion is and every time I think I got the slightest hint of it, BAM there's a lady walkin down the runway with a million ruffles upon her drowned in veils! Where do these people get these ideas! Talk about imagination honey! They must be drowning in it!
I see girls all of these brand names, spending HUNDREDS of hundreds on a bag that won't last for long but why? I can find some lovely bags at Millers Surplus (My shopping center day is
spent at a military store, they have some lovely bags). I don't think I will ever understand what kind of hold these designer brands have on people! One thing I don't understand is why do they have OUTRAGEOUS looks on the runway but then if you want it in the store it's a forth of what it was on the runway! That don't make no sense at all honey. No sense at all. My mother is a lover of the brands, She is all up over them at all times. She buys designer brands with the money she doesn't have and it makes it look like she has money but she doesn't. No sense. Fashion is just absurd!
One of the last things that twists my mind in designer designs is designer sunglasses! Designer people make everything from designer sunglasses to underwear! "Hey girl, I just bought the latest Dolce and Gabbana briefs, I feel fabulous!". What!? Does fashion have that much of an effect on people? As I already said, I'll never understand. Ever. Fashion is not my lover and not my best friend! To end this lovely rant of absurdities I will leave you with only one question.
Honey, Do you know who this is? Because I sure don't!

A Girl's Best Friend for Less!
Girls LOVE to accessorize! I see girls with all types of things! I see girls with their ears
pierced more than one time, There is the mighty group of face piercers (I'm too afraid for that!), Girls with their chest plate pierced (No way!), Nose piercers, bellybutton piercers! There are just a million places to get a piercing! Away from piercings there are bracelets, necklaces, rings, ankle bracelets and even waist bracelets! They just got on and on! But how much do all these things cost? Are you a girl that loves it all, You see and BAM it's on you?
Well there's an easier way to save money for those crafty gal's out there! You can create your own jewelry! Sounds hard doesn't it, Well it is definitely not hard at all! All it takes is a little trip to your local Walmart or Hobby Store and go to the jewelry section and buy a jewelry making kit! Inside the kit it'll come with some wire (for bracelets), Earring hooks for earrings, 3-part pliers, hollow silver things to push down at the end of beads so they don't decorate the floor! One thing you will need is what
type of beads that you find beautious! Now don't go get HUGE beads but get cute small ones in any color that you want and start mapping the design inside of your head or on paper! Now I won't go into details on how to create jewelry because the kit that you buy will tell you how to a lot better than I could! But there you go! A girl's best friend for less! In the back of Walmart with all the beads they have plenty of things you can buy! They have dollar packs of beads that are beautiful, they have tiny fancy silver/metallic beads that work good with almost any color, different types of earring pieces and just about everything! So now you can buy that lovely dress you found (That originally wouldn't match any of your jewelry) and create your own jewelry!
Now you can't create new facial piercings with this but you can create lovely new bracelets, earrings and much more! It does take a bit of time but in the end it is worth it! You can even start your own business by making jewelry for other people and charging, it works great for gifts and is great for anyone who loves jewelry and money! Well there ya go! Stay tuned for more craft ideas brought to you by Ashley! The Gal just keeps giving!

Nails!
Nails, Nails, Nails, Nails and wait more nails! Everyone has nails and I am a fanatic about painting mine (One of the only maybe fashionable things I know!) I used to bite my nails more than the sky is blue, but then I found out how to quit! Don't try that weird polish that gives them that horrid taste! Just put crazy fancy stick on designs on them! Their are tons of stick on nails that you can cut or file to fit your nail and it'll look so good you won't want to bite em'.
I am definitely not an artist nor anyone near one but there are tons of awesome things you can do to your nails (That I only recently discovered thankfully to my friend). There is a nail style called marbling.
One idea that I know a girl that does it is the whole 3D nail scene! She buys buttons from the local Walmart and clips off the back of it (The loop part that is used to sew) and she paints her nails then she uses super glue or nail glue and glues it to her fingers! I'm clumsy enough with now long nails how could I possibly go around with objects on em'! But it looks really cool there are tons of buttons! You can also do it with little pearls and small objects (But don't use a clear coat with these!).
As I said there are tons of ideas on how to anything to your nails! I am a HUGE fan of nail art pens! I love to write on my nails. If you are SUPER artsy (unlike me) you can draw awesome pictures and cute little figures!
One of the COOLEST ideas I have found is the newspaper on nails idea! To do these
beautious nails you will require clipped newspaper articles of your choice, white nail polish, clear nail polish, make-up pads or cotton flat pads (Can do without), Rubbing alcohol, Nail polish remover a cu tip and OF COURSE your finger nails!

Steps to marbling!
- Get a bowl of water or multiple tiny bowls filled with water (10 like the amount of your fingernails).
- Put tape around your finger surrounding your nails but not on the nail.
- Take your favorite colors of nail polish (The picture above used pink, purple and black). Place a drop of each in the water on top of each other (Don't let the brush touch the water just let the nail polish drop off of it).
- Take a toothpick and swirl it through the nail polish.
- Place the top of your finger nail on the design and lift, all the nail polish will come up and onto your finger (Thus the tape!)
- Let it dry and peel off the tape and paint over the design with clear nail polish to make it last longer!
- You can also look up how to do it on youtube!

How to do Newspaper Nails!
- Cut out small clippings from your newspaper! Your favorite words, small pictures, numbers, letters, anything!
- Paint your nails with a white base coat first and let dry.
- While your nails are drying put the newspaper clippings on seperate make-up pads (Little cotton flat pads).
- Place your finger in rubbing alcohol for about 5-10 seconds and quickly put news paper clipping over it and hold it for about 10-15 seconds, peel off slowly
- A little bit of newspaper may be stuck to your finger nails. Take a cu tip and dip in nail polish remover and gently use on extra paper to remove it
- Then paint a lovely clear coat on top and BAM! Beautiful nails! :)
